A really nice centre just off the main road. The staff were very friendly and there was plenty of choice for our garden. I must also state that the plants looked much better looked after than those at the Dobbies we also visited that morning. The car park had pretty tight spaces though. I definitely recommend.

Great place to browse plenty of plants, pots and every conceivable sundry for gardening, although on our recent visit the garden centre was looking a bit tired and very untidy, especially outside. Lots of under watered plants ( please water the plants under cover in the poly tunnels), burst compost and aggregate bags lying about, pallets of broken slabs, some of which lying up against the racking, its a health and safety officers dream. There is a large cafe ( The Gardeners Rest), I can recommend the breakfast, cakes, their hot rolls and the ice cream which was really nice. It does get busy, so if you are in a large group, I would book a table prior to visiting. Toilets are next to the tills in the garden centre. These were spotless, well done the cleaner. The staff were polite, prompt and well presented. The carpark outside is free but can be a bit tight in places when busy.

Lovely range of plants, much more interesting than the 'chain type' garden centres. I have been buying from here for a few years and always good really good quality plants. Cafe always busy and noisy. I have had some good and not so good food, good and not so good cakes. Depends what you choose. Coffee quite nice, service friendly.

Huge garden centre with an abundance of plants and you'd expect, pots, best priced garden ornaments and good cafe. Will definitely go back.

A really good garden centre, which stocks much needed items for house plants that the other more obvious places like your Homebases and B&Q's won't stock, such as perlite, vermiculite, pumps, hoses etc for the pond. It can look a bit cluttered (at the pots and compost sections), but that's a part of the appeal in my opinion, and makes it a more enjoyable experience to browse through everything they have.
