Sunshine Horticultural has the freshest and best plants. Excellent packing and shipping. The staff I dealt with, Angie, helped me every step of the way. I have done business with them for years and cannot say enough good. Excellent products, excellent staff, and excellent service.

I regret spending the money I did with Sunshine Horticulture. The sale dept. was so so. But but once I received my shipment, it went down hill very quickly. Many of the flats were turned over with close to all the plugs out of their containers. Many died immediately after planting and more after a few days. After trying numerous times to contact the SH at the point of receiving, I was finally able to get customer service on the phone which did not live up to the dept name. Concerns and complaints were met with deflection and excuses or worse, blame was somehow put back on me.
The green industry is a small niche industry, typically all working together for the over all improvement of our field. I've have not met any company as complacent as SH. As a very small business owner, I hope I can break even on what is still alive.

They send out poorly rooted plants that are poorly packaged for shipping with literally just a couple sheets of newspaper to protect the plants. What we did not know when ordering was this is a China owned business with their corporate office in China. Had we know this we would never have used them. We've now received 2 orders from them and both times the plants still needed a lot of grow time in their cell sheets. They should have never been sold to us let alone been shipped, as they were not strong enough to survive a bit of rough treatment which is typical of UPS/fedex. Both times our orders have arrived damaged. These plants were not rooted well enough to survive the typical bumpiness and slight package mishandling of retail shipping. This last time our entire order was destroyed with nothing salvageable. Any plugs that seemed ok we were unable to save as they were easily uprooted from their cells when trying to carefully remove them from the trays. The first time we took the loss due to the damage not being as bad however this time everything was destroyed and they denied our claim basically saying it was not their responsibility. Normally I would not place the blame on the vendor however when you are sending out poorly rooted tissue culture plants and then packaging 2 trays sided by side in a 22x22x10 box with nothing to stop them from moving around in the box except two flimsy pieces of newspaper wrapped around each tray and a cardboard stacking divider that is not meant for side by side shipping, then yes, they are absolutely part of the problem. Had these been properly rooted and properly packaged it would have been unlikely the damage would have been as bad and we would at least have plants to sell. We've received orders from other vendors via UPS that have arrived slammed down, turned on their sides & some cases upside down by drivers and still have been able to salvage plants. We've never had a total loss. Anything that dies our other vendors are always good at helping us get our money back or crediting us for the order. We will not be using this vendor again and would suggest you look elsewhere for tissue culture plants. Stick to American companies. You take a big risk ordering here.

Have worked with this company many times and don’t know why I keep giving them chances. They sent me boxes with plants missing. I reached out to them and they said “oh yeah oops sorry we ran out.” Then I put the same plant on reserve 3 months in advance and then again did not receive it. When I called to ask why I was forwarded to sales where they brushed it off as if it didn’t matter. Then persuaded me to buy another plant I did t want. The boxes arrived and the plugs were no longer in the trays. Soil everywhere and half the plants damaged or dead. I called to speak to Christian (the manager) and left a voicemail only to never receive a call back.

Don’t waste your time and money. Just order from AG3 or Casa Flora who go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of!

This is the U.S. branch of Sunshine International Group. A multinational conglomerate. I don't know about the other branches in China and Japan, but this company needs a MAJOR personnel overhaul from sales to shipping.

Save your time, money and absolute frustration. Consistently book plants that they later sell to other "larger" clients. When you do get material they try to charge outrageous shipping rates (double other liner companies in the area) . The packing dept could care less how they install the liners and many times the plants come crushed. The sales dept is draconian in trying to get any refund or take accountability for this mess. The accounting dept ABSOLUTELY cares less about your concerns and makes charge to your card you did not authorize. Sadly, when plants do make it to you undamaged they are of high quality, but with an HIGHLY unprofessional sales team and complacent packing/accounting dept your experience is going to be dismal at best.
